How to Check an Awin Publisher Account and Payment

Awin is an affiliate marketing platform connecting publishers with advertisers. Publishers use an Awin account to join advertiser programs, generate tracked promotions, review transaction statuses, and receive commission after it becomes payable.

This independent guide is not affiliated with or operated by Awin.

For most account questions, start by identifying what is actually delayed. A failed login, a pending transaction, approved commission, and a processed payment are four separate conditions. Each requires a different check.

What is Awin?

Awin runs an affiliate network where publishers promote participating advertisers and may receive commission for qualifying activity. Its publisher category includes content creators, influencers, editorial businesses, and other approved promotional partners.

The platform records attributed transactions and provides reporting and payment tools. It does not guarantee that every advertiser will approve a publisher or that every recorded order will produce commission.

That distinction comes first.

A publisher may have an active Awin account while one advertiser application remains pending. Likewise, a transaction may be approved by an advertiser but not yet ready for payment.

Where publishers sign in

Awin’s current sign-in page begins with an Email address field and a Continue button. New users are directed to a separate registration path through the Get started here option.

Reach that page through Awin’s own website. Avoid entering account information on an independent page that merely ranks for an “Awin login” search.

The main publisher platform and Awin’s Partner Success Center are not the same area. The platform contains account activity and reports. The Success Center provides explanations for account, tracking, and payment questions.

Use the platform first. Skip unofficial account-recovery services.

What new US publishers should know

Awin’s US FAQ states that a $1 joining deposit applies during publisher registration. According to Awin, that amount is reimbursed through the publisher account after the first payment threshold is reached.

The deposit is part of registration. It does not guarantee acceptance into the network, acceptance by an advertiser, or future commission.

A publisher application should describe the actual promotional channel clearly. The applicant should be prepared to identify where affiliate promotions will appear and how the submitted property is used.

Registration conditions may vary by region. Check the terms displayed during the current US signup process rather than relying on an old tutorial written for another Awin market.

Network approval is only the first checkpoint

Joining Awin gives a publisher access to the network, but individual advertiser relationships are managed separately. A publisher generally needs to apply to each program it plans to promote.

That creates two different approval questions:

Was the publisher accepted by Awin?

Did a particular advertiser accept the publisher?

Do not treat an advertiser rejection as an Awin login failure. The account may remain active and usable for other programs.

Awin also supports commission arrangements in which an advertiser may reward an assisting publisher even when that publisher was not the final click. This depends on the advertiser implementing Awin’s Payment on Assist model and choosing which publishers receive that treatment.

Standard attribution should not be assumed to include assisted commission. Check the advertiser’s actual program setup.

Use the transaction report before checking the bank

The Awin Publisher Transaction Report is available under Reports > Transactions. It provides transaction and payment statuses, transaction types, advertiser information, and individual order details. Publishers can filter the report by date, payment status, transaction type, advertiser, or order reference.

This report should be the first stop when a sale appears missing or a commission amount seems lower than expected.

Do not begin with the total shown in a broad performance view. Narrow the report to the relevant advertiser and date range, then inspect the individual record.

Awin’s report can also be used to find transactions attached to a specific payment. Its documentation describes selecting Paid – Payment sent, generating the report, and searching within the payment-related data.

That is more reliable than trying to reconstruct a deposit from memory.

Pending, approved, and payable are different

Awin defines three important stages in its current transaction documentation.

Pending review: The transaction has been tracked and is waiting for advertiser validation.

Approved: The advertiser has confirmed that the transaction is valid, but the commission is not ready to be paid.

Payable: The commission is ready for payment and can be included in the next payment run.

Approved does not mean payable.

This is one of the most important account details to understand. A publisher can see approved commission in reporting without seeing the same amount in the next payment. The payment process must finish before the commission moves to payable status.

Wait for the status change. Skip unnecessary bank-detail edits.

Why approved commission may still be unpaid

Awin’s missing-payment checklist states that approved earnings have passed advertiser review but are not yet payable. It says this commonly means Awin has not received the corresponding payment from the advertiser.

The publisher’s bank account has no effect on that advertiser-funding stage.

Awin provides an advertiser traffic-light status that may help indicate whether an advertiser payment delay is likely. The status should be reviewed before treating the situation as a problem with the publisher’s payment method.

Priority one is status. Skip changing settings until you know whether the commission has actually become payable.

Awin also publishes separate guidance concerning advertiser payment delays, confirming that outstanding advertiser balances can affect publisher payment timing.

How Awin payment thresholds work

Awin’s documented minimum publisher thresholds are:

CurrencyMinimum threshold
USD$20
GBP£20
EUR€20
Other currenciesEquivalent of $20

The publisher can select a higher threshold. The amount saved in the account controls when the payable balance qualifies for processing.

For example, a US publisher with a selected threshold of $100 would not receive a payment when the payable balance reaches $72. Awin permits a $20 minimum, but the account’s chosen $100 setting remains in effect.

Check the saved number.

Awin’s payment settings include Payment Frequency, Destination Country, Destination Currency, Payment Threshold, and Payment Method. The available payment method is displayed according to the chosen country and currency.

Where payment settings are located

Awin’s Payoneer setup guidance directs publishers to Account > Payment Details, followed by the Bank Details section. The publisher then selects a payment frequency and payment threshold as part of the setup.

International payment arrangements may require Payoneer. Awin defines international payments to include USD sent to a non-US bank, EUR sent to a non-EU country, and GBP sent to a non-UK bank account.

Available arrangements vary by region and currency.

Enter payment information only in the authenticated Awin or linked payment-provider environment. Do not send financial details to someone claiming they can manually speed up a payout.

When Awin processes payments

Awin processes publisher payments twice per month, on the 1st and 15th. Publishers may choose a monthly schedule instead. When a payment date falls on a weekend, Awin issues the payment on the next working day.

These dates describe payment processing, not the original transaction date.

Commission must first reach payable status and meet the selected threshold. The receiving bank or payment provider then requires additional processing time.

For US publishers paid through ACH, Awin lists an estimated arrival time of three to five working days. International wire transfers through Payoneer are also listed at three to five working days.

Count from the Awin payment date. Do not count from the customer’s order date.

Payment Overview and Payment History

Awin’s Payment Report is divided into Payment Overview and Payment History. Publishers can reach it through Reports > Payment.

The two sections serve different jobs.

Payment Overview helps the publisher review payment information that has not necessarily become a completed historical record.

Payment History contains previous payments and the associated self-billing invoices. Awin says the payment report details payments received and breaks them down by self-billing invoice.

For a missing deposit, check history for the relevant payment first.

Awin’s troubleshooting instructions specifically tell publishers to open Reports > Payment > History and look for a self-billing invoice to confirm whether payment has already been processed.

No invoice usually points the investigation back toward status, threshold, or payment setup rather than bank delivery.

A practical missing-payment sequence

Follow the account in order:

  1. Open Reports > Transactions.
  2. Find the affected advertiser and transaction.
  3. Check whether the status is pending, approved, or payable.
  4. Review the dashboard’s Payable balance.
  5. Compare that balance with the selected threshold.
  6. Open Reports > Payment > History.
  7. Look for the corresponding self-billing invoice.
  8. Allow three to five working days for ACH when applicable.
  9. Contact Awin through its publisher-support route when the platform shows a processed payment but the transfer remains missing.

This order prevents several common mistakes. It separates advertiser validation from Awin payment processing and separates Awin payment processing from bank posting.

Keep each question narrow.

Frequently asked questions

What is the correct Awin login screen?

It begins with Email address and Continue.

Does an approved transaction mean I will be paid now?

No. It must become payable first.

What is Awin’s minimum payment threshold in US dollars?

The minimum is $20.

Can I choose a higher payment threshold?

Yes. Awin includes Payment Threshold among the configurable payment settings. A higher saved threshold must be reached before the payable balance can trigger payment.

Where can I check individual Awin transactions?

Open Reports > Transactions. You can filter by advertiser, date, payment status, transaction type, or order reference.

Where can I see past Awin payments?

Go to Reports > Payment, then use Payment History. That area contains completed payment records and self-billing invoice information.

How long does an ACH payment take?

Awin lists three to five working days.

Why is approved commission still unpaid?

The advertiser may have validated the transaction while the related funding has not yet reached Awin. Review the advertiser payment status and wait for the commission to become payable before investigating bank delivery.
