Awin is an affiliate marketing platform that connects publishers with advertisers whose products or services they may promote. Existing users can sign in through Awin’s platform at ui.awin.com, while new publishers should begin through Awin’s publisher registration page.
This independent guide is not operated by, endorsed by, or affiliated with Awin.
The most useful distinction is simple: an Awin network account gives a publisher access to the platform, but it does not automatically approve that publisher for every advertiser program. Each program application may remain pending, be accepted, or be rejected separately.
What Awin is
Awin operates an affiliate network in which an advertiser offers products or services and a publisher promotes them through approved online channels. Awin’s privacy documentation defines a publisher as a person or organization that promotes an advertiser’s product through the Awin Network.
Publishers may include editorial websites, bloggers, creators, comparison services and other partners. Awin’s US publisher page says participation is available at no cost and gives publishers access to advertiser partnerships and reporting tools, though acceptance into the network and individual programs remains subject to review.
Approval is not automatic.
Use the correct Awin login page
The current Awin sign-in page displays an Email address field followed by a Continue button. It also links new users to the registration process.
Use the platform address reached from Awin’s own website rather than a login button on an unfamiliar third-party guide. Check the domain carefully before entering account information.
A common wrong-page moment occurs when a publisher reaches the Partner Success Center login instead of the main Awin platform. The Success Center contains help articles and contact options; the Awin platform is where publisher accounts, advertiser relationships, reports and payment settings are managed.
Do this first: open Awin’s main website and follow its Login link. Skip unofficial pages that claim to “unlock” an account or provide special access.
How new publishers join Awin
Awin’s publisher signup page includes a Join Awin action and a separate route for Instagram influencers. People who already have an account are directed back to login.
The application should accurately describe the applicant and the promotional space that will be used. Awin identifies missing or inconsistent application information, unverifiable names, addresses or websites, and an inadequate description of the promotional space as possible reasons a network application may be rejected.
That produces two practical rules.
Use a working promotional property that reviewers can evaluate. Then describe how traffic is acquired and where affiliate promotions will appear, rather than submitting a vague description such as “online marketing.”
Awin says its compliance team reviews publisher applications. The review is intended to assess the quality and security of publishers presented to advertisers.
Registration requirements and available publisher types can vary by region. Use the country-specific version of Awin’s site and read the terms shown during signup.
Why an Awin password reset may not work
Awin’s reset page asks for the username and sends instructions to the email address associated with the account.
A missing reset message does not always mean the password is wrong. Awin’s troubleshooting guidance identifies several separate possibilities, including an account that has not been activated, a locked account, or a reset process that has not completed correctly.
The activation issue matters most for newly created or migrated accounts. Awin’s ShareASale migration guidance states that someone who has never logged into the Awin platform and receives no reset email may have an account that has not yet been activated.
Check the original activation route first. Do not keep submitting reset requests before confirming that the account exists and has been activated.
For persistent access problems, advertisers may contact their account manager or use the access-help channel listed by Awin. Publishers are directed to Awin’s contact form; the access page says the team aims to respond within 48 hours, although actual timing can vary.
Changing an email address or password
The email attached to an Awin user is not necessarily changed by simply editing a general company profile.
Awin’s guidance for changing a login email instructs an account user to go to Account > Users > Invite User, enter the new email address, and choose the required permission group.
For a password change inside the platform, Awin’s current documentation directs users to the Dashboard, then the user icon in the upper-right corner, followed by Security.
Account ownership is more restricted. Awin states that changing the publisher account owner must be handled by Awin for security reasons, and supporting ownership documentation may be requested.
Do not create a replacement publisher account merely to change an owner or login address. That can separate existing advertiser relationships, historical transactions and unpaid balances from the new account.
Applying to advertiser programs
Network acceptance is only the first approval layer. A publisher must then apply to individual advertiser programs through the platform.
Awin’s instructions say the publisher profile should be complete and payment and tax details should be current before applying. Program applications remain in Pending status until reviewed by the advertiser or an Awin account manager.
An advertiser may reject a publisher because the promotional method, audience, region or publisher type does not match the program. A rejection from one program does not necessarily mean the entire Awin account has been rejected.
From the publisher dashboard, advertiser contact and program discovery are handled through Advertisers > Join Program. Awin says publishers can use that area to contact advertisers about matters including application status.
Prioritize profile accuracy over application volume. Applying indiscriminately to unrelated brands is less useful than selecting programs that fit the actual audience and promotional channel.
How Awin commissions and payments work
An affiliate transaction can pass through several stages before commission becomes payable. Awin’s transaction documentation distinguishes pending, approved and declined activity, while its payment materials explain that approved commission may remain unpaid until it becomes payable and the selected threshold is met.
For USD accounts, Awin lists a minimum selectable payment threshold of $20. If a publisher does not choose a threshold, the documented default for USD is $50. Threshold controls are located under Account > Payment Details, in the Bank Details section.
Awin processes publisher payment cycles twice monthly, with payment dates listed as the 1st and 15th. Inclusion depends on commission approval, payable status and the relevant cutoff; reaching a threshold does not make a newly tracked sale immediately withdrawable.
That distinction is frequently skipped in thin login guides. A visible commission may be:
- Pending, awaiting advertiser review.
- Approved, but not yet payable.
- Payable, available for a payment cycle once the threshold and account requirements are satisfied.
- Paid, included in payment history.
Publishers in most regions are paid automatically after payable earnings reach the configured threshold. Awin notes separate invoicing or tax-document requirements for some countries, so payment procedures vary by region.
Payment details and two-step verification
Payment settings deserve more attention than the dashboard total.
Awin requires two-step verification before a publisher can access or update Payment Details. The security feature uses a second authentication method in addition to the account password.
A newly entered bank account must be active. For certain international payment arrangements, Awin says payment information may be managed through Payoneer rather than stored directly in Awin.
One hands-on detail: when an old account contains pending payments, Awin advises updating the bank information on that old account and waiting for its payments to complete before closing it. Moving bank information only to a newly created account does not automatically move the old account’s balance.
Another: the Payment History area records the processing date, payment period, method, amount and the transactions included in each payment. That screen is usually more useful for tracing a payout than a general earnings figure.
Affiliate disclosure and US compliance
US publishers should clearly disclose material relationships when recommendations or endorsements can generate compensation. The Federal Trade Commission’s Endorsement Guides apply truth-in-advertising principles to endorsements, influencers and online reviews.
A disclosure should be understandable and placed where the audience is likely to notice it. Hiding the relationship on a distant policy page may not adequately explain the connection attached to a particular recommendation.
Awin also offers an ad-disclosure tool called adMission, which can apply customized disclosure messaging to qualifying links and domains.
Publishers should also consider marking affiliate links with the rel="sponsored" attribute. Awin provides specific guidance on that link qualification.
Awin support routes
Use Awin’s Partner Success Center for publisher-account guidance and its contact form when self-service instructions do not resolve the issue. The US contact page separates advertiser support from publisher support and directs publishers to the Partner Success Center ticket route.
Contact support when the account cannot be activated, ownership must be changed, a valid reset route does not work, or a payment remains missing after the documented processing window.
For a payment that has a self-billing invoice but has not reached the bank account five business days after the payment date, Awin directs publishers to contact Partner Success.
Frequently asked questions
Is Awin a publisher or an advertiser platform?
Both. It connects publishers and advertisers.
Where is the Awin publisher login?
The sign-in page is hosted at ui.awin.com and begins with an Email address field and Continue button. Reach it through Awin’s main website rather than relying on an unverified login directory.
Why am I not receiving a password reset email?
The account may not be activated, the supplied login identifier may not match the account, or access may be restricted. Awin specifically warns that migrated users who have never entered the platform may need account activation rather than another password reset.
Does joining Awin approve me for every brand?
No.
Where do I add bank details?
For publishers, Awin documents the route as Account > Payment Details. Two-step verification must be active before payment details can be accessed or changed.
When does Awin pay publishers?
Awin lists publisher payment processing on the 1st and 15th. A commission must become payable, meet the selected threshold and satisfy applicable account requirements before it can be included.
Can I change the account owner myself?
No. Awin handles publisher ownership changes and may request evidence establishing ownership of the account.
What should I check before contacting support?
Confirm that the correct platform page was used, the account was activated, two-step verification is working, and the relevant transaction is marked payable rather than merely pending or approved. Then use Awin’s publisher contact form with the account identifier and a plain description of the problem.
